The Schoolhouse

The schoolhouse is an extraordinary model of a historical one room schoolhouse. It includes considerable detail carefully designed to peak the imagination of children, and the interest of adults. The author contemplated the project for years and then constructed it for his grandchildren. It turned out to be much more than a simple playhouse. The schoolhouse, as well as the process of building it, became a celebration of a career well spent, and a retirement well deserved.
